CANCELLATION AND REFUND CONDITIONS:
In prepaid reservations, if the reservation is canceled 24 hours before the vehicle pick-up time, the entire rental fee will be refunded by Ekar.
In prepaid reservations, if the vehicle is returned between 24 and 2 hours, 1 day rental fee will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded by Ekar. (No refund will be made for 1-day reservations)
In prepaid reservations, the rental fee will not be refunded for cancellations made 2 hours before the vehicle is delivered.
In prepaid reservations, the vehicles belonging to our customers will be kept waiting for 2 hours from the pick-up time and our customers will be able to pick up their vehicles within these two hours. After 2 hours, the reservation will be automatically canceled by the system and no refund will be made.
In case of early delivery of the vehicle, the fee for the unused days will not be refunded.
Users with a foreign driver's license are required to present their passport to the office where they will rent. Otherwise, the prepayment amount will not be refunded.
The refund of Prepaid Reservations will be reflected on your card within 3-5 business days depending on the transaction density of the Bank.
In Prepaid Reservations, in order for the vehicles to be delivered to our customers, the General Rental Conditions and the following conditions must be met. If the following conditions are not met, the vehicle cannot be delivered and the refund will not be made.
The payment method is only credit card and there is no cash payment or debit card application.
The provision amount, which varies according to the rental and vehicle group, must be provided from the person's credit card. The credit card must contain the name and surname of the person who will rent.
The person who will receive the vehicle must present their Driver's License to the Ekar Global office.
The discount earned through Prepaid Reservation cannot be combined with another campaign.
RESERVATION CHANGE:
A prepaid reservation cannot be changed. In case of a change in reservation, the reservation must be canceled and the cancellation - refund conditions written above apply. After the cancellation, a new prepaid reservation can be made according to the desired change.
UNUSED DAYS:
If the vehicle is returned before the date specified in the reservation form after the rental has started, no refund will be made for the unused days. If our customer does not pick up the vehicle on the date and time specified in the reservation form despite a prepaid reservation, the collected prepayment amount will not be refunded.
EXTENSION OF THE RENTAL:
In a rental made with a prepaid reservation, if the rental period exceeds the return date specified in the reservation form, the additional fee that will occur when the rental agreement is extended will be collected from the credit card presented by our customer at the beginning of the rental, at the Ekar Global List prices valid on the date of the extension days.
TRAFFIC FINES:
All kinds of liability and material traffic fines arising from non-compliance with the traffic laws in force belong to the user. Traffic and illegal bridge and highway crossing fines incurred during the rental period of the vehicle but received after the rental ends will be collected from the person and/or company specified in the rental agreement. The time that will pass due to the detention of the vehicles by official or local authorities for whatever reason is considered to be within the contract period. A service fee of 50 TL + VAT is applied for traffic fines.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
In case of any accident, it is mandatory to keep an accident report appropriate to the type of accident without changing the location of the vehicle or to apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station and obtain accident, theft and alcohol detection reports and to inform the Full Support Line, which is available 24/7, at 0850 304 3527.
In case of theft of the vehicle, it is mandatory to apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station and inform the Full Support Line, which is available 24/7, at 0850 304 35 27.
Otherwise, all purchased guarantees will be deemed invalid and all damages, including material and moral losses incurred to third parties, will be collected from the tenant.
In case of vehicle breakdown or need for support for any reason, assistance must be obtained from the 24/7 phone number 0850 304 35 27.
- Please make sure that the Vehicle delivery and collection form is filled out and signed at the beginning of the rental and during the return.
- To extend the rental period, inform / change the return time and day, please call the office where you made the rental or our Reservation Center.
- In case of an accident, vehicle breakdown or any other reason during the rental, the Full Support Line should be called at 0850 304 35 27.
- If the vehicle's periodic maintenance mileage is due during your use, please call our Full Support Line at 0850 304 35 27 so that you can continue your journey safely.
- In the event of a ONE-SIDED accident or theft of the vehicle, the nearest police or gendarmerie station must be contacted without changing the location of the vehicle and accident, theft and alcohol detection reports must be obtained.
- In DOUBLE-SIDED accidents, except for the cases stated in the following items, depending on the type of accident, drivers are obliged to fill out the Material Damage Accident Report as specified on the report. In double-sided accidents, the traffic accident report is prepared by the traffic police only in the following cases.
- If a motor vehicle is used without a driver's license,
- If the driver is a minor,
- If the driver is suspected of alcohol or mental health,
- If one of the vehicles involved in the accident belongs to a public institution,
- If damage occurs to property belonging to a public institution,
- If only property belonging to third parties is damaged in the traffic accident,
- If one of the vehicles involved in the accident does not have traffic insurance,
- If the traffic accident results in death and/or bodily harm.
ASSURANCES
A description of our assurances is provided below. The explanations are general and for informational purposes. Ekar Global reserves the right to change this information over time.
The assurances included in your reservation are included in your price offer and/or reservation confirmation.
You can purchase assurances not included in your prices from our sales offices at the beginning of the rental. You can also get detailed information about the valid limits from our sales offices.
Optional Financial Liability Insurance (IFA): These are assurances that cover damages to 3rd parties.
Mini Damage Insurance (SCDW): Repair insurance with customer declaration for damages below the amount determined by Ekar Global.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): It is an insurance that covers the driver and the people in the vehicle within the insurance limits. It is calculated based on the number of seats in the vehicle.
